Jenn Miller, along with her husband and four children, is in her eighth year of an open ended world tour that has taken them through about thirty countries so far. With a degree in Education, Jennifer began her career as a health and sexuality educator in public and private schools before going on to educate her four children, K-university entrance. She has spent the past fifteen years working as an educational consultant and curriculum designer within the alternative education market; she is passionate about the intersection of education and adventure and sees travel as a building block for personal and global development.
Among other things, Jenn is a faculty member of the Wandering Educators Youth Travel Blogging Mentorship Program, she is a prolific freelance writer and editor within the alternative education and travel markets. She is the co-author of Bottles to Backpacks: The Gypsy Mama’s Guide to REAL Travel With Kids, a cradle to college primer on every aspect of child-life on the road, and a recognized expert in combining adventure and education. She is the Chairman of the board of directors for Genesis Community for the Arts, a Canadian organization providing arts education for children in developing countries.
