We’re very excited to announce that the evaluation process for the Travel Access Project Grants for Gap Year travel for 2018 is well under way!
We received almost 200 applications for the ten financial grants and one scholarship from En Route Consulting. The first round of evaluation is complete and approximately 30 applications are now being reviewed by the team.
By the first week of May we’ll have identified our finalists and be ready to schedule the in person Skype interviews.
We are very excited to have as a member of the evaluation team, one of last year’s TAP Grant Recipients, Michelle Zhang. Who better to know what it takes to make for a great Gap Year than a student currently on one?
Throughout this year, Michelle has exhibited strong leadership qualities and her reflections from her Gap Year have been an encouragement and an inspiration to all of us. Her perspective is valuable as we make the selection of next year’s recipients.
