Gap Year Sketches: Michelle Zhang

In addition to being a passionate advocate for women’s issues, an avid learner, and a great writer, Michelle Zhang is also an artist. She shared the portrait she painted of her Guatemalan host dad along with her reflections on the heart and soul of travel.

Today we’d like to share, without commentary, some of the sketches from her Gap Year journal, because art reflects life and the life Michelle has lived this year is reflected in her art and her art has the potential to impact other lives.
